"Asian American Comic Book" was created in 1993 through the Asian American Resource Workshop, a non-profit activist organization in Boston, Massachusetts. It tells 4 stories of different Asian American experiences. The stories were written and compiled mostly by people who were close to the real life experiences. The drawings are researched to accurately represent with observed details close to the actual events and people's lives. The book has been out of print for several years: the link above offers a full access to a reproduction of the whole book.
